First, you will fly business class with Lufthansa or Swiss (or a wet lease partner) to Frankfurt or Zurich. After visiting the first class lounge or the first class terminal in Frankfurt, you will continue to Johannesburg. Swiss uses the Airbus A340-300 with a 1-2-1 configuration, while Lufthansa uses the Boeing 747-8i, where the layout is complicated. Both aircraft provide eight seats in first class.
From Johannesburg, you will fly to Zimbabwe with South African Airways on an A320 or similar, or with Airlink on an Embraer 195. There is only business class available with wide recliner seats in a 2-2 layout on the Airbus A320 or a 1-2 layout on the Embraer. Sometimes these segments are booked in economy class.
Lufthansa First Class
Lufthansa has its own terminal for First Class passengers! This and the food in Lufthansa’s First Class are widely considered to be among the best. The First Class terminal has its own airport security control, free food, hotel-like rooms with bed and bathtub, and so on. You get driven to the plane in a limousine.
The seat can be turned into a 210 cm long bed (roughly 80 cm wide) and has all the usual comforts, such as power sockets, inflight entertainment, WIFI, and so on.

Information & Tips for Victoria Falls
Victoria Falls offers distinct perspectives from both the Zimbabwean and Zambian sides, with the dry season (May to October) generally considered the best time for clear visibility. During the high-water peak (March to May), the spray is immense but can often obscure the view of the falls themselves. The region is relatively expensive for travelers; national park entry fees are high, and prices for meals and activities are often comparable to Western standards. While the US Dollar is the primary currency for tourism in Zimbabwe, the Zambian side uses the Kwacha, though USD is widely accepted in both border towns.
