Most Europeans need an electronic system for travel authorization (ESTA) to enter the USA for up to 90 days. This costs US$40 (~€35) and you should apply for it a couple of days before your trip, at the latest.
There are some cases where you cannot apply for an ESTA, e.g. if you’ve been to Cuba since 2021 or to Iran, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, or North Korea since March 2011. In those cases, you’ll need to get a visa from a US embassy or consulate, which can take multiple weeks.

The offer is only live for 80 hours, until September 20, 2026. Availability differs per route, but is generally found for travel from November 2026 to March 2027.
There’s a 3-day minimum stay for these fares. The best way to find availability is by using Google Flights. We recommend booking directly via SAS for the prices shown above. However, if the Light fare is enough for you, feel free to book via Skyscanner and save another €20 or €30.
