First, you will take a feeder flight to Warsaw with LOT in economy class, and then continue from the Polish capital to Asia on LOT’s Boeing 787. The premium economy seats are arranged in a 2-3-2 configuration.
LOT’s premium economy seats look like they are 50 years old. Nevertheless, LOT does have a few advantages. The seats are very wide, the recline is fantastic, and you enjoy all priority services at the airport (except lounge access). The recline however can also be a downside, as you’ll basically have the person in front of you on your lap (which is why reserving the bulkhead seats may be a wise decision). Another strange feature: The inflight entertainment screen is not on the back of the seat but has to be taken out of the armrest. Also, LOT has no wifi, not even for a charge.
Most European passport holders can stay in Japan visa-free for up to 90 days.
Some EU citizens can enter South Korea visa-free and stay for up to 90 days until the end of 2026. Please check if you have to register via K-ETA before starting your trip.

- Barcelona to Seoul: April to June, September to January 2027
- Madrid to Seoul: April to June.

- Barcelona to Tokyo: October to November, and January 2027

In the past, LOT’s deals have not lasted for long. Often, they were gone after merely one day. So we recommend not to wait too long if you’re interested.

Editor’s Note: If you want to avoid flying via China, this is one of the best deals for premium economy to Seoul and Tokyo. It’s a shame that Barcelona and Malaga require layovers, but you can take the opportunity to visit the Polish capital. You can go to Forum for coffee and Ciao a Tutti for pizza.
