Etihad Apartment Bed A380

Etihad Airways is offering a first class deal from Europe to Tokyo, starting at just €3,679. This offer includes 50 kg of checked baggage, plus all first-class perks. Departures are available until October 2026, and from March through May 2027, depending on your departure airport.

Please note that first class from Europe only available on segments operated by the A321 (listed below) and the A380 (London and Paris). For departures from Paris, the price is €5,225, but if you are flexible with longer layovers, it can drop to €4,840. With the other origins, you will fly from Europe to Abu Dhabi in business class, and then onward to Tokyo (and back) on the Airbus A380 on first class.

You can fly from the following airports with short layovers in Abu Dhabi:

Depending on your departure airport, you may start your journey in a standard business-class cabin with a 1-2-1 configuration. However, there are exceptions on routes operated by leased aircraft, such as Rome, the evening flight from Madrid or Lisbon, and Athens, where Etihad uses an A320 with a 2-2 layout and recliner seats.

If you depart from Paris, Mallorca, Switzerland, Düsseldorf, Luxembourg, or certain flights from Frankfurt or Milan, you will fly on the Airbus A321LR, which features a 1-1 first-class configuration. If you choose the right flights from Paris, you can enjoy the Airbus A380 all the way from France to Japan with 9 seats and The Residence on the first class cabin.

Regardless of starting in business class, you will receive first class perks and continue your journey on the Airbus A380 in first class on the upper deck. If you wish to upgrade to The Residence on the Abu Dhabi–Tokyo segment, it costs an additional €3,871 per segment booking from Athens. For Paris departures, a two-person booking including The Residence on four segments increases the total price from €5,250 to €11,625.

Information & Tips for Tokyo

Tokyo is known for its blend of traditional and modern attractions, including the historic Senso-ji Temple, the bustling Shibuya Crossing, and the futuristic Odaiba district. The currency used is the Japanese yen (JPY), and credit cards are widely accepted in many places. Tokyo can be expensive, especially for accommodation and dining in tourist areas, but budget options are available. The weather varies: summers are hot and humid, while winters are cold but generally dry. The best times to visit are in spring (for cherry blossoms) and autumn (for mild temperatures).
