LuxuryEscapes offers a rather complicated cancellation policy. It basically comes in three steps:
- Up to 7 days after booking: You get a full refund in your original payment form. This is the last chance to get your money back.

The Hotel
The Clermont Victoria is a four-star rated, upscale hotel directly connected to Victoria Station, making it convenient for Gatwick Express and Tube access. The building has historic character, but functions mainly as a well-run city hotel with a restaurant, bar, and fitness room, but no pool. While the location is very good to get around by public transport, walking to sights like Big Ben, Trafalgar Square or Piccadilly Circus still takes roughly 30 minutes.

Previous guests rated the hotel reasonably well (e.g. 4.7/5 on Tripadvisor or 4.2/5 on Google), praising the excellent connection to public transport, cleanliness of the rooms and regal flair of the public areas. Recurring points of criticism is the size of the rooms, especially when it comes to upper category rooms. This deal refers to the lowest possible category for double occupancy, so it shouldn’t be that much of a problem.
Based on the reviews, it seems like some rooms were recently renovated, while others have yet to be refurbished. We recommend double-checking before check-in to make sure to have a pleasant stay.
Editor’s Note: Hotels in Westminster are notoriously expensive, making the Clermont Victoria a viable option. Cheap food is also not that easy to come by in Central London, so the included breakfast is an even bigger perk than usual.
