The Scandinavian hotel group Strawberry (formerly Nordic Choice Hotels) is offering its popular Summer Pass again for 2026. This deal allows you to stay at numerous hotels in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Lithuania at a fixed price. The pass is valid for stays between June 18 and August 24, 2026.
This year, the offer is structured differently than in previous years. There are two different 5-night packages based on hotel categories rather than the number of nights. The “Budget” pass covers 76 hotels, while the “Standard” pass gives you access to 140 hotels across Northern Europe.
As usual, booking via the Norwegian version of the website is approximately 10% cheaper due to currency exchange rates:

- Budget Pass: NOK 4,495 (~€407) (~€82 per night)
- Standard Pass: NOK 5,995 (~€543) (~€109 per night)
Via the International/English site:
- Budget Pass: €450 (€90 per night)
- Standard Pass: €600 (€120 per night)
Prices are for a double room for two people. Breakfast is included at almost all participating hotels. At certain locations, such as Clarion Collection hotels, afternoon sweets and a light evening meal are also included.
There is a limited allotment of rooms for pass holders per date and hotel. Especially for last-minute bookings, hotels in popular cities may sell out. We recommend checking availability before purchasing the pass.
You do not need to use the nights consecutively. You can spend one night in Bodø, two in Trondheim, and two in Oslo. You can also choose to spend all five nights at the same hotel if preferred.

The Standard Pass includes higher-tier hotels, such as Clarion Collection and Home Hotels (which often include dinner!). The Budget Pass primarily features Comfort Hotels, which still offer great value for money.
How it Works
- Check Availability: To avoid buying a pass you can’t use, check availability via the links below. Scroll down to the hotel list and select your desired hotel. If you see a rate of 899 / 1,199 NOK (or €90 / €120), the pass is available for those dates:
- Buy the Pass: Purchase your pass on the Norwegian site (from NOK 4,495 (~€407)) or the English site (from €450).
- Receive & Book: You will receive the pass via email. Use the booking links mentioned in step 1 to reserve your rooms.
- Check-in: You must present your digital hotel pass upon arrival.
Terms & Conditions
Here are the most important rules for this promotion:
- Sales Period: Until August 23, 2026.
- Stay Period: June 18 to August 24, 2026 (last check-out August 25).
- Max 2 adults per stay (the pass holder must be one of them).
- Up to 2 children (max 9 years old) can stay for free in their parents’ bed. Children over 9 require an extra bed for a fee.
- Valid for Standard rooms only.
- Loyalty: Strawberry members earn 1 status night per night and standard “Spenn” points.
- Cancellation: Booked nights can be rebooked or cancelled free of charge until 16:00 on the day of arrival.
- Breakfast is included at all hotels except Comfort Hotel Xpress and Runway Hotel.
- Non-participating hotels: You can use the pass at other hotels to get a fixed discount off the daily rate:
- Sweden/Norway: 899 SEK/NOK (Budget) or 1,199 SEK/NOK (Standard) off.
- Denmark: 630 DKK (Budget) or 840 DKK (Standard) off.
- Finland/Lithuania: €90 (Budget) or €120 (Standard) off.
Is it Worth it?
Whether the pass is a good deal depends heavily on the hotel and your travel dates. For example, the Comfort Hotel Xpress Stockholm Central can sometimes be found for €80 per night, but prices often rise to €140 or more during peak summer dates.
If you redeem your Budget Pass on high-demand nights in August, you could save over 40%. A more extreme example is the Riddergaarden Hotel & Mountain Lodge in Norway. While expensive in winter, summer rates according to Google Hotels are often €250+. With the Standard Pass, you effectively pay roughly €109 per night, saving more than 50%.
