The Route
Your transatlantic voyage departs from San Juan, Puerto Rico. As the second-oldest European-founded city in the Americas, San Juan charms visitors with monumental 16th-century fortifications, breezy plazas, and colorful Spanish-colonial architecture overlooking turquoise Caribbean waters.
The yacht first sets course for Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands. Known for idyllic white-sand beaches and vibrant marine life, it provides a quintessential Caribbean setting for swimming and snorkeling.
Next on the itinerary is St. John’s on Antigua, home to Nelson’s Dockyard—the world’s only continuously operating Georgian shipyard and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Following Antigua, the Silver Shadow begins seven consecutive days crossing the Atlantic Ocean. On Day 11, the ship makes landfall in the Canary Islands at Santa Cruz de La Palma for an extended stop, giving you plenty of time to explore this volcanic island dominated by the dramatic Caldera de Taburiente crater. The Ship
The Silver Shadow was built in 2000 and extensively refurbished in 2017. Measuring 186 meters in length and 25 meters in width, the boutique luxury vessel accommodates a maximum of 382 guests served by approximately 300 crew members. This exceptional guest-to-crew ratio ensures attentive, highly personalized service throughout your journey.
Accommodations aboard the Silver Shadow consist entirely of spacious suites, the vast majority featuring private teak verandas.
