Oneworld member Finnair is currently offering discounted tickets for business class flights from Munich and Budapest to South Korea. You can get a round-trip flight for only €1,460. A change of planes in Helsinki is necessary both ways, with a short layover on the outbound, but a 10-hour (daytime) layover on the way back. Departures at the cheapest price are limited to January 2027.
The mentioned prices are for Finnair’s Business Class Light fare. Checked baggage, priority services, and lounge access are not included. To enjoy these benefits, you need to choose the Business Classic fare, which costs €150 more expensive in each direction.
Frequent flyers with Oneworld Sapphire status can access the lounge and check in a suitcase up to 23 kg for free, even in the Light fare.
Our calendar displays the best available dates for trips of up to 28 days. It will redirect you to Finnair’s booking site. The summer dates displayed are a bit more expensive.

The feeder flights in the European business class are operated by Embraer or Airbus aircraft. Finnair uses Airbus A350 aircraft for the long-haul flights, with a 1-2-1 seat alignment. These are all equipped with Finnair’s new business class product, that only allows two seating options: seating upright or fully lie-flat. As our review highlights: It’s not everyone’s cup of tea:
The flight to Seoul takes 11 hours, while the flight back takes 13h30. Both directions are red-eye flights, which is rare for flights from Seoul to Europe.
Some EU citizens can enter South Korea visa-free and stay for up to 90 days until the end of 2026. Please check if you have to register via K-ETA before starting your trip.
Search & Book
The duration of the offer is not specified in the fare rules. The minimum stay is 5 days or one Saturday night, with no upper limit defined. Departures are scattered between November 2025 to June 2026. You can easily find suitable dates using Google Flights. You can book the flights directly with Finnair.
Editor’s Note: I love Seoul, and I also like Finnair’s business class (though I hate that luggage and lounge access is not included). I don’t love that the cheapest price is almost only available in cold and grey January, but overall this is a very attractive price, especially for Oneworld frequent flyers.
