Star Alliance member Avianca is offering business class one-way tickets from Oslo to São Paulo with two stops starting at just €786 (~NOK 8,854). Availability is currently open for travel between January and March 2027. Round-trip flights are also available starting at €1,379 (~NOK 15,534), though these are significantly harder to find than the one-way options.

If you are actually looking for a one-way flight to Colombia, you can simply skip the connecting flight from Bogotá to São Paulo (as long as you have no checked luggage or only check it to BOG).

Our availability calendar highlights all possible flight dates for the one-way flights. It will forward you to Avianca with your selected flight dates.

Your journey begins with SAS (SkyTeam) from Oslo to either London-Heathrow or Paris Charles-de-Gaulle. This feeder flight features a standard European business class with a blocked middle seat.

From there, you board an Avianca Boeing 787 Dreamliner to Bogotá, Colombia. The cabin features a 1-2-1 reverse herringbone configuration. While the seats are quite comfortable for sleeping, do not expect a world-class culinary experience or service level compared to other Star Alliance carriers.

In most cases, after a roughly 4-hour layover, the final leg to Sao Paulo is operated by an Airbus A320neo. These seats offer roughly 84 cm (33 inches) of pitch and a special center console, but the comfort level is not significantly higher than economy class. This can be quite taxing for a 6-hour flight, especially after arriving from a “real” long-haul business class. Fortunately, there is a way to fly this leg on a Dreamliner as well.

Stopover in Bogotá

You can extend your stay in Bogotá for several hours or even several days. This allows you to select specific flights between BOG and GRU. Flights AV 85 (departing BOG at 21:25) and AV 86 (departing GRU at 07:35) are scheduled to be operated by the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, giving you a full lie-flat seat for the 6-hour journey.

The Avianca website does not offer a multi-stop search, but you can book these specific connections via Trip.com. A true stopover for several days typically only increases the price by about €60.

Visa Info

Most European passport holders can stay in Brazil and Colombia visa-free for up to 90 days.

Search & Book

The fare rules do not list a specific expiration date. Finding availability can be tricky; Google Flights often fails to show the correct prices in the calendar view, and many dates shown in the ITA Matrix are not actually bookable.

The most reliable way to find these fares is directly on Avianca’s website, specifically for dates in January, February, and March 2027. You can use our search form above to be redirected to the booking page, as the Oslo to São Paulo route can be difficult to pull up manually on the homepage.

Miles & Points

The tickets are issued in booking class F for the Avianca segments. This is a restricted business class fare, meaning mileage accrual is very limited. Most partner programs will only credit miles for the SAS feeder flights. If you credit to Avianca LifeMiles, you can expect roughly 10 miles per USD of the ticket price (excluding taxes), resulting in approximately 8,300 miles for a one-way trip.
