Lufthansa Lounge New York JFK Eingang

Our Saturday morning column deals, that did not make it is like preseason football. The plays count, the rules apply, and if you’re paying attention you can spot real value taking shape. Dealz of the Week, by contrast, is the Super Bowl. Fully staged, relentlessly hyped, and impossible to ignore. These are the deals we didn’t just watch unfold, but put under stadium lights, because treating them like just another kickoff would miss the point entirely.

These are our best dealz since February 1, 2026:

Air China Sale from Norway

Star Alliance members Air China and Lufthansa have expanded their business class sale from Norway to China. Flights are available from six Norwegian airports to 18 destinations in China, with roundtrip fares consistently below €1,400 (~NOK 16,028). Shanghai is the main notable destination not included in the sale.

Why it stands out: These are excellent prices for lie-flat business class to Asia. Whether you want to explore the Middle Kingdom itself or use China as a gateway to Japan, Korea, or Southeast Asia, it’s hard to find cheaper business class fares than these.

Oman Air Sale in Business & Economy

In addition to decent economy prices, Oman Air also offers business class tickets to its home base, Muscat, at excellent prices. Fares start at €1,285 from Milan and stay below €1,500 across all six departure points.

Why it stands out: This is the cheapest nonstop lie-flat business class ticket to a Middle Eastern hub available. If you want to experience business class for the first time, it’s an excellent option: the fare is low, entry into Oman is straightforward, and Muscat is the Arabian hub farthest from Europe—resulting in a longer flight and more time in a premium cabin.

Lufthansa Status Match for Oneworld Frequent Flyers

Lufthansa has been offering a match for ITA status holders for quite some time. Since the start of February, British Airways Club and Iberia Plus tier holders are also eligible to get a corresponding Miles&More tier – for a one-time fee of €99.

Why it stands out: This is particularly interesting if you hold Oneworld Sapphire status. The equivalent Miles&More Senator comes with tangible perks, including lounge access on arrival (when flying Miles & More member airlines) and a 50% mileage discount for a second passenger on award bookings. At €99, the fee is modest compared to other paid status matches.
