The Route

The journey departs on July 28, 2027, from Istanbul, Turkey. Arriving early is strongly recommended to explore iconic landmarks such as the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the Grand Bazaar before the ship sets sail in the late afternoon.

Your first port of call is the Greek island of Lesbos (Mytilene), followed by Kusadasi on Turkey’s Aegean coast—the gateway to the ancient ruins of Ephesus. The ship then visits Chania on Crete, famed for its picturesque Venetian harbor and waterfront restaurants, and Katakolon on the Peloponnese peninsula, the historic birthplace of the Olympic Games.

Entering the Adriatic Sea, the Sirena docks in Dubrovnik, Croatia, where you can walk along the intact medieval defensive city walls. Further stops along the Dalmatian Coast include the island of Korčula and historic Zadar, famous for its Roman ruins and the musical Sea Organ.

In Italy, the ship calls at Ravenna, renowned worldwide for its UNESCO-protected early Christian and Byzantine mosaic art. The voyage concludes in Venice, where the ship remains docked overnight, functioning as a floating luxury hotel and giving you an extra day to wander the canals and alleys before disembarkation on August 7.

The Ship

The Sirena was built in 1999 and extensively refurbished in 2019 as part of the line’s fleetwide OceaniaNEXT modernization program. Measuring 180 meters in length and 26 meters in width, the boutique luxury vessel accommodates just 648 passengers served by 410 crew members, providing an intimate country club casual atmosphere.

Onboard amenities include the Aquamar Spa + Vitality Center, offering wellness treatments, complimentary fitness classes, and a heated pool with sun deck loungers. Guests can also enjoy quiet reading in the English-style library housing over 2,000 volumes, or take in evening entertainment spanning classical string quartets, Broadway-style revues, and guest comedians in the Sirena Lounge.

Culinary excellence is the hallmark of Oceania Cruises. Dining venues onboard feature no seating surcharges, allowing you to dine flexibly in the Grand Dining Room, the Italian-inspired Tuscan Steak, contemporary Asian restaurant Red Ginger, or the casual al fresco Terrace Café.
