The Sirena, a ship of the US-based cruise line Oceania Cruises, will set sail on January 4, 2027, for a Mediterranean to Atlantic cruise. This 10-night journey takes you from Civitavecchia (Rome) to Lisbon. This cruise is currently available at attractive rates, offering a relaxing start to the new year.
Prices for an inside cabin currently start at just €1,210 per person. If you wish to enjoy more space and luxury, oceanview cabins are available from €1,425 and balcony cabins from €2,050 (prices per person based on double occupancy). Unfortunately, this offer does not apply to solo travelers in this form, as a 100% single supplement is charged.

Please note that Oceania Cruises has positioned itself as an adults-only cruise line since the beginning of January 2026. Children under the age of 18 are therefore not permitted on board.
Inclusions
The listed prices include full board on board, covering all meals, soft drinks, and gratuities for the crew. Almost all specialty restaurants are also included (with the exception of La Reserve). In addition, you will receive two complimentary Starlink internet logins per cabin and can use the shuttle buses between the ship and the city center free of charge (where available).
You can also choose between:
- Wine & beer (champagne, red, white, or rosé wine, as well as a selection of international beers) served by the glass during restaurant opening hours, both in the restaurants and in the bars
- Shore excursion credit of US$300 (~€262) per person

Route
Your cruise begins in Civitavecchia. The port city is located about an hour from Rome. The ship leaves the port in the late afternoon and sets course for its first stop, Livorno. This is an excellent starting point for a day trip to Florence or Pisa. Afterward, the journey continues to Portofino near Genoa. The fishing village is famous for its colorful house facades and luxurious marina. From Castello Brown, you can enjoy a great view over the bay.
The next day, the Oceania Sirena sails to Nice. Also known as the “Pearl of the Côte d’Azur”, the city offers visitors many sights that can be easily explored on foot. The old town consists of a labyrinth of narrow streets lined with pastel-colored houses. Particularly popular is the Promenade des Anglais waterfront promenade along the Mediterranean. Via Marseille, the ship continues to Barcelona.
The Catalan metropolis is a popular tourist magnet year-round. Some of the most important sights include the Sagrada Família and Park Güell. The famous boulevard La Rambla, which is currently undergoing extensive redesign, is also well-known. The next stop is Alicante. Here, you will find a compact mix of beaches, historic fortresses, and a charming old town. The Castillo de Santa Bárbara is one of the largest medieval fortresses in Europe.
Afterward, the journey continues to the south of Spain. You will visit the port of Motril, which offers the opportunity for an excursion to Granada. Next, the Oceania Sirena sails through the Strait of Gibraltar and reaches its final stop. Andalusian Cádiz is considered the oldest continuously inhabited city in Western Europe and is spectacularly situated on a peninsula, almost completely surrounded by the Atlantic. A visit to the Mercado Central is highly recommended, where you can sample fresh fish, seafood, and local specialties directly at the market stalls. After 10 nights, the cruise concludes in Portugal’s capital, Lisbon.

The Ship
The Sirena was built in 1999 and was last refurbished in 2019. She measures 180 meters in length and 26 meters wide, accommodating up to 648 passengers and up to 410 crew members. Built at the French shipyard Chantiers de l’Atlantique, the ship cruises at an average speed of 18 knots. The Sirena is a sister ship to the Regatta, Insignia, and Nautica, and stands out with her elegant interior design.
The ship offers a variety of ways to relax on board. One highlight is the Canyon Ranch SpaClub, where passengers can enjoy massages and various treatments. On the sun deck, a large, heated pool is available, along with plenty of loungers perfect for sunbathing. For those who prefer to stay active, the sports deck offers golf or shuffleboard tournaments. A library with over 2,000 books and magazines is also available on board.
Evening entertainment includes classical music performances as well as engaging lectures on various topics. Furthermore, the onboard theater features performances by different entertainers, magicians, and comedians. Afterward, you can end the evening with a cocktail in one of the numerous bars and lounges.
Oceania Cruises places great emphasis on a high culinary standard. All meals, including those in the specialty restaurants (with the exception of La Reserve), are included in the cruise fare. This also applies to all non-alcoholic beverages and specialty coffees. Onboard, passengers can choose from Asian classics, French cuisine, classic grill specialties, or Italian dishes. Those who prefer a more traditional dining experience can, of course, dine in the Grand Dining Room every evening. Additionally, a 24-hour room service is available.
