It has long been an open secret that there are numerous ways to acquire Miles&More miles indirectly, such as through newspaper subscriptions. Now, you can also purchase miles directly via Bundle&Go. Miles&More simply packages the offer with a few more or less worthless “benefits” to avoid making it too obvious (otherwise, it could risk being classified as a digital currency).
In September, Miles&More substantially revamped the bundles. Prices have increased slightly, but in return, you can now receive up to 150 Miles&More Status Points and up to 3 Lufthansa Lounge access vouchers. At the same time, there is once again a 50% mileage bonus for first-time bundle buyers. According to the terms, this is officially available for selected Miles & More members, meaning it may be personalized.
If you have already purchased a mileage bundle in the past, you will likely miss out: without a bonus, each mile costs at least 1.77 euro cents.
Realistically, only the Large and X-Large bundles are worthwhile. With the 50% bonus, you will pay:
- Bundle Small: 7,500 miles for €125 (1.667 cpm)
- Bundle Medium: 75,000 miles + 1x Lounge voucher for €1,050 (1.400 cpm)
- Bundle Large: 150,000 miles + 2x Lounge vouchers + 100 Status Points for €1,850 (1.233 cpm)
- Bundle X-Large: 225,000 miles + 3x Lounge vouchers + 150 Status Points for €2,650 (1.178 cpm)

Throughout the year, Miles&More has not only increased award ticket surcharges multiple times, but has also raised mileage redemption costs on numerous routes. Therefore, it is strongly advised to check for lucrative award availability before buying miles.
Terms & Conditions
If you plan to top up your account this way, please keep the following terms in mind:
- Expiration date: ongoing until further notice
- According to Miles&More, the 50% bonus is “for selected Miles & More members and only for their first bundle purchase”
- A maximum of 300,000 miles can be purchased per calendar year (= up to 450,000 miles with the bonus included)
- You will likely earn Points only, not Qualifying Points toward status
- Lounge vouchers are valid for 12 months in Lufthansa Business Lounges worldwide (not SWISS, Austrian, etc.). Delivery occurs in the following month
- Miles are usually credited within a few minutes, though Miles&More states it can take up to 5 business days
- Purchased miles are subject to standard expiration rules (they expire after 36 months at the end of the quarter, unless you hold elite status or a co-branded credit card)
- No refunds are possible after completing the purchase.

Due to multiple increases in dynamic mileage pricing and carrier surcharges, flights to North America are rarely attractive anymore when surcharges exceed €1,000 for a business class round trip. As you can see, there are still some solid redemption opportunities available. However, this depends on finding available business class award space, which has become increasingly competitive.
For SEN/HON status members, the Companion Award grants an additional 50% discount on the mileage requirement for a second traveler on the same booking.

Evaluation: Is it Worth It?
Given the various components included in this promotion, drawing a clear conclusion is nuanced. However, buying is generally only worth considering if you are eligible for the 50% bonus.
For the miles alone? Looking strictly at the mileage rate, the best-case price is 1.178 cents per mile (with the 50% bonus). That is average. Subscriptions in Germany occasionally yield miles around 1 cent each, though with waiting times and smaller totals.
For the Status Points? Their true value depends on your travel patterns. 150 Status Points represent 7.5% of the qualification requirement for Senator status (assuming you earn the necessary Qualifying Points through flights). While 150 points could theoretically be earned via status runs for €70–€100, realistic costs within Europe are typically €200 to €300.
For the Lounge vouchers? Each lounge pass is nominally worth around €20 to €30. For existing Senators, these are mostly redundant since lounge access is already included. Ironically, Senator status holders benefit the most from buying miles due to the Companion Award.
Bottom line: This deal makes the most sense if you specifically need the Status Points to hit or retain an elite status tier. In that scenario, paying a slight premium for the miles can be justified. If you are spending over €2,500 on miles, make sure you have a concrete, high-value redemption lined up first.
