Czech rail operator LEO Express launched a new cross-border service to Germany in June 2026. Operating several times per week, the route links Frankfurt to Prague, continuing onward to Ostrava and Bohumín near the Polish border. Services also extend through southern Poland serving Kraków and Przemyśl.
Tickets on the sector between Germany and the Czech Republic are currently available starting at just €10 each way. Domestic journeys within Germany are also permitted at low prices, such as Frankfurt to Leipzig or Bad Schandau to Erfurt.
On top of the low baseline fares, you can currently get an additional 25% discount when traveling as two people by entering the voucher code LE50 at checkout. Valid for bookings made through Friday, September 18, 2026. With the code applied, two passengers pay just €7.50 each between Frankfurt and Prague!
Please note that under the current timetable, large portions of the journey take place overnight. Westbound services toward Frankfurt operate through the night (reaching Dresden at 01:40 and Frankfurt South at 07:22). Eastbound services cross Germany during the late afternoon and evening, arriving in Prague at 01:17 at night and in Ostrava at 05:27 in the morning.
As a general rule, the earlier you book, the lower the price. Below are the current starting fares:
