IHG One Rewards has started an attractive promotion, allowing members to earn triple points until May 22, 2026. You need to register before April 11, 2026 and book your room by then to earn the points – and stay in a participating country, like most of Europe, Northern Africa, Japan or Australia.
There is another promotion granting double points from the second stay, that has been extended until May 19. If you have not registered yet, you can do so here. It should be possible to combine both offers and thus earn 5x points.

All stays until May 22, 2026, are eligible for the bonus, as long as you are registered at the time of checking out. While the screenshot states you have to book by by April 11 to receive the points, the terms & conditions neither deny nor confirm this. In any case, have to book a Qualifying Rate, i.e. one that will earn you points. A night has to be worth at least $30 or local equivalent to be a qualifying stay. The promotion rewards both existing and new bookings.
Please also note that these are just bonus points, earned on top of your regular earnings. Points you earn through status benefits are not doubled. You can spend these points on award nights, but they will not count towards your status. Your bonus point earnings from this promotion are capped at 70,000 points, unless you booked your stays on December 1 or 2.

Editor’s Note: This is a good promotion. IHG sticks to its habit of not requiring new bookings for bonus points. Triple points is also a rather handsome reward, compared to the programs decent, but mildly disappointing double points promo from January through March. Major downsides are the geographical restrictions and unusually short booking window.
