Hilton Hotels‘ reward program Hilton Honors is offering a Status Match Challenge. If you participate, you’ll be upgraded to Hilton Honors Gold for 90 days. If you gather 6 qualifying nights by the end of the 90-day trial period, you will be upgraded permanently through March 31, 2028. By gathering 12 or more nights within the 90-day trial period, you will even be upgraded to Hilton Honors Diamond Status for almost two years.
Hilton Honors Gold is quite worth it: It includes free breakfast (outside the USA) and, depending on availability, an upgrade in Conrad, Hilton, Doubletree and Curio Hotels! Additional benefits of Hilton Honors Diamond include Executive Lounge access and free premium Wi-Fi.
Editor’s Note: Hilton’s status is one of the best there is (at least, outside the US). Getting it with only a handful of nights until March 2028(!) is a fantastic deal that we never get tired of reminding people of. The amount of money you can save on breakfasts alone is more than worth it.
Procedure
To take part in this status match challenge, you’ll need photographic proof of your membership in a competing reward program. A picture of your membership card or a screenshot will be enough. Further, you’ll need to prove that you stayed at one of this chain’s hotels over the past 24 months. Again, a screenshot of your reservation or a copy of your receipt will suffice.
You’ll upload these documents on the landing page. Within two weeks, you should receive an answer.
If you have already participated in this status challenge before, you can not do the challenge again.
