French low-cost long-haul carrier French Bee is currently offering a great deal on one-way flights from Tahiti, the largest island in French Polynesia, to San Francisco. Base fares start from just €231, which includes a 12 kg carry-on bag and a small personal item (40 x 30 x 15 cm).
If you need checked luggage and onboard dining, the Bee Smart fare—which bundles a 23 kg checked bag and a hot meal—starts at €300 directly on French Bee’s website. Departures are widely available from September to October 2026 and from December 2026 through June 2027 (blacked out in November 2026), making this an exceptional transpacific building block for a round-the-world itinerary.

Flights are operated by Airbus A350-900 aircraft. While the seat pitch is standard at 32″ (81 cm), French Bee uses a high-density 10-abreast (3-4-3) layout (reviewed here). This makes the seats slightly narrower than the 9-abreast standard found on full-service carriers. Flight time for the nonstop crossing is approximately 8 hours.
