The Route
The cruise begins with an overnight stay in the historic metropolis of Istanbul, giving you ample time to explore world-famous sites like the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and the Blue Mosque before the ship departs in the afternoon of Day 2.
Following a relaxing sea day navigating the Aegean, you dock on the Greek island of Corfu (Kerkyra). Its UNESCO-listed old town reflects centuries of Venetian rule, with highlights including the Spianada square, the Church of Saint Spyridon with its striking red bell tower, and the French-style Liston colonnade.
On Day 5, the Explora II enters the Boka Kotorska—the dramatic, fjord-like Bay of Kotor in Montenegro—anchoring right outside the gates of Kotor’s fortified medieval Old Town. The final call brings you to Split, Croatia, built within the living Roman palace complex of Emperor Diocletian (famed as a filming location for Game of Thrones). The cruise concludes after 6 nights in Fusina, right across the lagoon from Venice.
