Since 2023, private rail operator European Sleeper has operated a night train service from Berlin to Amsterdam and Brussels. This route has since been extended eastward to Dresden and Prague. In late March 2026, a service from the German capital to Paris was introduced. Starting September 9, 2026, a new service from Brussels via Aachen and Cologne to Milan will also operate several times a week.
As part of an early bird special, heavily discounted couchette tickets are currently available. One-way trips between Germany and France, Belgium, the Netherlands, or the Czech Republic are available starting at €40. This promotion is valid for travel from January 3 to March 18, 2027.

These fares include your train ticket, a reserved berth in a 5-berth couchette compartment, bed linen, and a luggage allowance. Mineral water is also provided, while additional drinks and snacks can be purchased on board. Fares and availability may vary depending on the day of the week and the departure station.
Alternatively, you can book a private compartment starting at €144. This flat rate applies regardless of whether the compartment is used by one or five passengers. To book this, select the Classic Private option during the booking process to view the total price for the compartment.

This represents a 20% savings compared to standard pricing. The discount also applies to the Budget seat category (6-seat compartments), bringing tickets down to just €16 (usually €20).
Route
The Brussels – Amsterdam – Berlin – Prague route operates three times a week, with stops in Antwerp, Rotterdam, and The Hague, among others. In Germany, the train stops only at Berlin Hbf, Berlin Ostbahnhof, Dresden Hbf, and Bad Schandau before continuing to Děčín and Prague. The journey from Berlin to Brussels takes approximately 10 hours.
The route from Berlin to Paris includes stops in Liège and Brussels. According to the timetable, the total travel time between Germany and France is approximately 17.5 hours, departing Berlin Hauptbahnhof around 18:30 and arriving in Paris at approximately 12:00 the following day.

Comfort & Travel Classes
European Sleeper offers three travel classes:
The seated carriage consists of six-seat compartments. Unlike some older ÖBB Nightjets, the seats cannot be pulled together to form a flat sleeping surface.
Couchette compartments feature either six or (for an extra charge) five berths, which fold up during the day to provide seating. Women-only compartments are available. Bed linen is provided, though you will need to make your own bed.
The sleeper carriage accommodates up to three passengers per compartment and features an in-room washbasin. This travel class includes a welcome drink, pre-made beds, a wake-up service, and breakfast, provided you book the Comfort Plus category. Women-only compartments are also available.

This promotion is only available via the landing page linked above. The 20% discount is applied automatically, and a specific couchette berth will be assigned to you. It is currently not possible to select or change your berth during the booking process. The official end date of this sale has not been announced.
Tickets are issued under the Easy Night fare. This is the most restrictive category, meaning tickets are non-refundable and non-changeable after booking. Ticket availability under this promotion is limited.
