Planning a trip to Germany? You can save over 13% on your train travel by purchasing discounted Deutsche Bahn gift cards. Until July 5, 2026, €30 gift cards are on sale for just €26. You can purchase these online via Penny Kartenwelt or Rewe Kartenwelt. The voucher codes are delivered digitally by email, but the websites are in German.
Please note that digital activation can take up to 24 hours after purchase before the code becomes active.
The vouchers are valid for 5 years and can be redeemed online on bahn.com (which has a English version) or in the DB Navigator app. You can use them for train tickets (excluding the regional transit Deutschlandticket), seat reservations, and BahnCards. Note that they cannot be redeemed at physical station ticket machines. You can apply up to 10 vouchers per booking.
If your ticket costs less than the voucher’s value, the remaining balance will be sent to you as a new voucher code.
