Paris Seine

Every day of the week, the routine of Travel-Dealz editors begins with combing through countless offers and suggesting them to our colleagues. After evaluating them, only the best deals make it on our homepage and into our newsletter. In this post, we want to shine a light on offers that were discussed, but ultimately disregarded. But just because we didn’t feel they would be interesting for a broader audience, it doesn’t mean that some people won’t cherish them.

Info

In this section, you can’t expect our usual service – we will give one example for each deal. We can only give hints about details like availability, travel period, other origins/destinations or fare rules.

Buy Miles&More Miles with a 50% Bonus at Bundle&Go

Miles&More is once again offering selling its miles in bundles, with a nice 50% bonus on top. The largest bundle comes with the best value, getting you 150,000 miles for €1,750 (i.e. 1.17 cents per mile). This is their best promotion since September 2025.

Reason it wasn’t on the site: Since Miles&More introduced dynamic pricing, award flights are more closely linked to the cash price, and thus it’s become much harder to save large amounts of money by booking with purchased miles. Dynamic pricing also makes stacking 150,000 points a riskier decision, as prices could go up anytime. That being said, you can still get a few nice deals, e.g. flying first class to Tokyo for effectively €1,772 o/w.

A-Rosa Seine River Cruise over Easter for €698 pp

River cruise line A-Rosa is currently offering a 7-night river cruise from Paris from April 2 – 9 for €698 per person. You’ll be exploring the Seine, stopping at beautiful cities like Rouen, all the way to Caudebec-en-Caux in Normandy and back. The price includes all meals on board and water. Later dates in April cost €100 more.

Reason it wasn’t on the site: Last-minute deals usually don’t do all too well with our readers, and Easter is only a month away. Furthermore, A-Rosa is a German cruise line, so the entertainment on board is primarily in German. If both things don’t bother you, this is a beautiful way to spend the Easter Holidays as a couple.

Norwegian and Oceania Cruises from Florida to Lisbon

On April 13, the Norwegian Star departs from Tampa and heads to Lisbon, stopping at 4 caribbean destinations before crossing the Atlantic for a whole week without any stops. The 2-week cruise merely costs €510 per person. An outside cabin costs €565, which probably makes more sense for such a long cruise.

A couple of weeks later, on May 4, the Oceania Insignia starts its 12-night cruise from Miami to Lisbon, stopping only in Bermuda and the Azores. The cruise costs €1,386 per person. While that’s more than double of what Norwegian is charging, it’s a teriffic price for a luxury cruise line like Oceania, where a lot of extras are included, such as (non-alcoholic) drinks, Starlink internet access, speciality restaurants, gratuities, and port shuttles.

Reason it wasn’t on the site: While the price of the cruises are excellent, very few people will have time to spontaneously make space for a 2-week cruise next month. Furthermore, you also have to add the price of one-way flights to Florida, which directly adds another ~€500 to the cost, no longer making the total package thaaat attractive. For the Oceania cruise, the fact that only inside cabins remain available was a reason too, as people who pay quadruple-digit prices may very well expect a window on their 12-night cruise.

Emerald Ultra-Luxury Cruise from Venice for €4,860 pp

While Oceania is a luxury cruise line, Emerald Cruises is in the ultra-luxury segment. The Emerald Kaia is basically a 120m long yacht, brand new, entering service next month, and built for only 128 passengers. A 7-night cruise starting and ending in Venice in June, and exploring various destinations in Croatia, costs a hefty €5,375 per person. Travel-Dealz, however, got an exclusive price, giving you a discount of roughly €500 per person.

Reason it wasn’t on the site: While the ship is extraordinary, €4,860 per person is no small price. And after our Scenic Cruises deals had 0 people interested, despite us offering an exclusive discount of over €6,000 per person, we didn’t feel that we’d find anyone interested in this one with a discount of “only” €500.

Mein Schiff All-Inclusive Cruises from Mallorca or the Canaries for €679 pp

Mein Schiff is currently selling some very attractive 7-night cruises, departing from Mallorca in December 2026 or Gran Canaria in January 2027. The price of €679 per person would be good enough in itself, but these are even all-inclusive cruises! You pay the price, and never need to worry about paying for drinks, gratuities, etc. on board.

Reason it wasn’t on the site: Similarly to the A-Rosa, this is actually a perfectly fine deal. But Mein Schiff is also a German cruise line. While they say that they also offer everything in english, you definitely will be surrounded by a lot of Germans. We assume that our english-speaking readers prefer a more international audience.
