Every day of the week, the routine of Travel-Dealz editors begins with combing through countless offers and suggesting them to our colleagues. After evaluating them, only the best deals make it on our homepage and into our newsletter. In this post, we want to shine a light on offers that were discussed, but ultimately disregarded. But just because we didn’t feel they would be interesting for a broader audience, it doesn’t mean that some people won’t cherish them.
In this section, you can’t expect our usual service – we will give one example for each deal. We can only give hints about details like availability, travel period, other origins/destinations or fare rules.
Table of Contents
Turkish Airlines Sale to Seoul
Turkish Airlines currently offers economy tickets to Seoul for less than €600 r/t when departing from Prague or Luxembourg. The cheapest tickets start at CZK 13,320 (~€550).

Reason it wasn’t on the site: Availability for this offer is not too great, so it’s already standing on a shaky foundation. It gets worse in comparison to the offers of many Chinese airlines, which are usually offering price below €400, just like SAS. It was close to its own deal, but in the end, it was a deal that didn’t make it.
Air France & KLM from Budapest to South East Asia
Air France and KLM are currently selling discounted tickets from Budapest to Vietnam and Thailand. Economy roundtrips to Ho-Chi-Minh City are available for just €535 (~HUF 203,654) – a fare that includes a checked bag. Flights to Bangkok have the same price-tag, but luggage adds €120 when going to Thailand.

Reason it wasn’t on the site: Finding discounted tickets from Budapest to South East Asia is not that hard, as Chinese carriers usually offer very competitive prices from Hungary’s capital. In the end, flying via Paris or Amsterdam was just too much of a de-tour to consider it a deal.
5% Discount on Fred.Olsen Cruises
Mainly known for its ferrys, Norwegian company Fred.Olsen also operates cruises. Their Northern Lights sailings at the end of 2026 are currently available with a 5% discount when entering the code Aurora5 during the booking process. The £1,669 (~€1,909) pp cruise pictured below have been singled out by our cruise experts as the best redemption option.

Reason it wasn’t on the site: The travel period is rather limited, and even the discounted prices didn’t blow us away.
Cheap Carnival Cruises from Sydney
In September, the Carnival Adventure starts a bunch of ten-day cruises from Sydney to Pacific islands like Vanuatu and New Caledonia. Prices start at €614 (~A$1,022) per person for an inside cabin.

Reason it wasn’t on the site: The Carnival Adventure is one of the oldest ships in Carnival’s fleet, now operating longer than a quarter of the century. Combine that with the fact that Australia isn’t exactly our core customer base, and you’ll quickly understand why the deal ended up here, despite the interesting destination and great price.
