You will likely fly on a Boeing 787-9 from Madrid to Mexico City. The business class features a 1-2-1 layout with Collins Super Diamond (Reverse Herringbone) seats. On the connecting flight from Mexico City to Costa Rica, Boeing 737 MAX aircraft are used. These feature a 2-2 recliner layout, similar to American domestic first class or long-haul premium economy.
