You can connect to to almost any popular tourist destination in East or Southeast Asia. Either way, you’ll be flying from Madrid to Guangzhou first, onboard a Boeing 787 with a 3-3-3 economy class configuration. The flight takes a bit under 13 hours. After a layover in Guangzhou, you’ll then continue to your final destination, usually with an Airbus A320 family plane.

The Tokyo option includes two nights of layovers, but costs hundreds of euros less than doing it without overnight stays on another airline.
