All flights include a layover at Istanbul Airport. Turkish Airlines’ long-haul fleet—featuring the Boeing 787 and Airbus A350—offers modern lie-flat Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration on most U.S. routes.
Most Europeans need an electronic system for travel authorization (ESTA) to enter the USA for up to 90 days. This costs US$40 (~€34) and you should apply for it a couple of days before your trip, at the latest.
There are some cases where you cannot apply for an ESTA, e.g. if you’ve been to Cuba since 2021 or to Iran, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, or North Korea since March 2011. In those cases, you’ll need to get a visa from a US embassy or consulate, which can take multiple weeks.
Search & Book
This deal does not have an expiration date, but a minimum stay of seven days or a Saturday overnight stay, and a maximum stay of twelve months apply. Departures are scattered in March, April, and from August through January 2027.
You can find suitable dates using our calendar above or with the help of Google Flights. We recommend booking directly on Turkish Airlines’ website, but you can find cheaper prices with Trip.com. However, booking on OTAs has its downsides.
Editor’s Note: Turkish Airlines is famous for its award-winning catering and the impressive Business Class lounge in Istanbul. Flying via IST might be a detour, but the service quality and comfort are well worth the extra miles.
