SalamAir is a low-cost carrier from Oman and, just like Oman Air, is government-owned. Combining both airlines currently allows you to travel from Vienna to Thailand at a very affordable price. In theory, round-trip flights start at a sensational €263. However, this only applies if a personal item (33 x 25 x 20 cm, 5 kg) is enough for you.
Booking via Trip.com is more attractive. There, you can secure the fare including a personal item + 20 kg checked baggage from €329:
Availability seems to be limited to just a few dates in late August and September 2026. Only one combination manages to avoid a long layover in Muscat. Below are the prices including 20 kg baggage:
