First, you will first fly with Air India from Copenhagen to Delhi. A Boeing 787 is used for this leg, featuring 18 seats in a 2-2-2 configuration in business class. All seats can be fully converted into a flat bed with a seat pitch of 188 cm.
The onward flight to Bangkok is usually operated by Airbus A320neo aircraft. Please note that these short-haul flights do not feature lie-flat seats, but rather standard recliner seats.
Most European passport holders can stay in Thailand visa-free for up to 60 days. An online form (TDAC) must be completed within 72 hours before entry.

Editor’s Note: While Air India is modernizing its fleet, you will likely still encounter their older 2-2-2 business class product on the 787. It’s perfectly comfortable for sleeping, but lacks direct aisle access for every passenger. The regional leg to Bangkok on the A320 is a significant step down, so plan accordingly.
