Aegean Airlines has re-launched one of its most intriguing promotions: Families travelling with at least one child under the age of 11 can book a Family fare, that waives the airfare for all children on the booking, reducing their ticket cost to taxes & surcharges. The offer includes:
- €0 air fare for children 11 or younger
- 30% discount on the airfare for adults (= roughly 5% off the ticket price)
- 50% discount on checked bags
- free selection of standard seats for everybody, both ways
- Double Miles+Bonus miles
The offer is available until February 19, 2026 for trips between March 1 and November 30, 2026. This promotion already pays off for a family of three (two adults and one child) – larger groups save even more.
Terms & Conditions
The offer is valid for all direct and connecting flights across our network. Valid for bookings between February 10th, 2026 and February 19th, 2026 and travel from March 1st, 2026 until November 30th, 2026 for flights operated by AEGEAN and Olympic Air. All codeshare flights are excluded from this offer. This offer is only valid when there is at least one adult and one child or infant under the same booking and it does not apply to children travelling alone. 100% discount applies for infants (up to 2 years old) and children (up to 11 years old) when booking the Family fare. 100% discount applies for infants (up to 2 years old) and 20% discount applies for children (up to 11 years old) when booking the ComfortFlex fare. 90% discount applies for infants (up to 2 years old) when booking the Light and Flex fares, but there is no discount for children’s tickets on these fares. For the other passengers when booking the Family fare 15% discount applies for travel between March 1st, 2026 and March 26th, 2026, 10% discount applies for travel between March 27th, 2026 and April 19th, 2026 and between July 1st, 2026 and September 13th, 2026, 20% discount applies for travel between April 20th, 2026 and June 30th, 2026 and 30% discount applies for travel between September 14th, 2026 and November 30th, 2026. The discount refers to the fare of the ticket and it does not include the airport taxes. Fares shown on the reservation system are already reduced accordingly. In case of ticket cancellation refund policy is applied depending on fare category. Ticket changes are permitted – relevant charges depend on fare category. The offer is valid for Economy Class fares.
The promo ends on February 19th, 2026 at 23:59 Greek time.
You don’t need an extra code to get the discount, they just have to travel with an adult. In the following example, the family fare is roughly €35 more expensive, but comes with other inclusions and discounts:

We strongly recommend comparing prices. With the free seat reservation and the discount on checked bags, a family of three (two adults, one child, two checked bags) would save more than for a trip from Milan to Athens in June 2026 when selecting the family fare and adding all discounted extras:
In contrast to earlier iterations of this promotion, this is a remarkable improvement. When we first wrote about this, you had to add at least three children to your ticket to make the offer worthwhile. Last time, it was two children. This is the first time the offer is worthwhile for a family of three. However, by increasing the number of children, the offer gets even more appealing.
Editor’s Note: Aegean’s current version of the family deal is the most attractive we’ve seen so far. Even when traveling with a single child, the Light fare is more expensive, even without the included extras. Like previously, kids only pay taxes and fees (which make up the majority of the price), but the slightly discounted fare for adult passengers makes all the difference. Being able to sit together for free and 50% discount on luggage is a welcomes bonus.
