Aegean: Anniversary Sale Flights from/to All Over Europe For Less than €100 r/t (With Cabin Bag)

Star Alliance member Aegean Airlines is celebrating its 27th anniversary. To mark the occasion, the airline has launched a network-wide sale. According to the official announcement, you can get up to a 50% discount on the base fare for economy class travel, depending on the travel period and fare class.

The actual discount is lower because taxes, fees, and surcharges are not reduced. For example, the price for a round trip from Berlin to Thessaloniki in February drops from the previous €111 to €87. For the ComfortFlex fare, which includes checked baggage, the price is €139 instead of €215.

The offer is valid until May 30, 2026. The discount amount depends on the travel period and is structured as follows. Depending on the fare and travel period, economy class is discounted as follows:

• July 1 to September 13, 2026: 20% to 25% discount
• September 14 to November 8, 2026: 25% to 30% discount
• November 9 to December 17, 2026: 50% discount
• December 18, 2026, to January 10, 2027: 20% to 30% discount
• January 11 to March 10, 2027: 50% discount
• March 11 to March 27, 2027: 15% discount

Aegean Airlines offers non-stop flights to Athens and Thessaloniki, as well as on a few other routes. The islands are typically reached with a layover. Airbus A320 family aircraft are used, featuring a seat pitch of 71 to 76 cm.

Some flights between the mainland and the Greek islands are operated by turboprop aircraft from their subsidiary, Olympic Air. Please note that Olympic Air is not a Star Alliance member, so standard Star Alliance Gold benefits do not apply or may be highly restricted.

The discount varies between 15% and 50% depending on the season. As described above, the prices for the low season (e.g., in March) are particularly interesting. A positive side effect: during this time, hotels on the numerous islands are usually significantly cheaper, provided they are open.
